What is a singles mixer? A singles mixer is a relaxed social event where singles can meet naturally through conversation in a friendly environment. There are no structured dating activities or speed dating rotations.
Is this speed dating? No. There are no timers, bells or forced conversations. Simply arrive, grab a drink and mingle at your own pace.
What age group attends? This event is aimed primarily at singles in their 40s, 50s and 60s, although ages can vary from event to event.
Can I come on my own? Absolutely. Most guests do.
Will there be icebreakers? Yes. We’ll have conversation cards available to help spark natural conversations and make meeting new people feel easier.
What happens if it rains? The garden area is covered and heated, so we’ll be comfortable whatever the British weather decides to throw at us.
Can I buy food? Yes. The Oddfellows Arms will be serving their popular stone-baked pizzas from 4pm until 8pm if you’d like to grab a bite to eat during or after the event.
