Giggling Squid
Enjoy one the prettiest dining experience’s in Cambridge. A traditional domed ceiling building with grand pillars meets eclectic styling. Sit within one of their floral decor birdcages and take in the elaborate Thai inspired prints. I visited with a date in 2022 and the Thai food was so flavoursome, the staff were friendly and it’s definitely on my hit list to go back again soon!

The roof terrace at the Varsity hotel
Enjoy the beauty of Cambridge’s landmarks from the roof terrace at the Varsity hotel on a warm day or head down one floor to enjoy the sophisticated bar and restaurant, Six. Serving dishes from their Wood Stone, Grill and Rotisserie. I visited recently with family and we stayed for more cocktails then planned as couldn’t pull ourselves away from the stunning views.

Sticks n Sushi Cambridge

I haven’t been to this franchise in Cambridge but I did go to the Sticks n Sushi in London in November 22 and was blown away by the food there. My date ordered a platter which was a great way to share new flavours together, whilst sipping on Asian inspired cocktails in a relaxing contemporary setting.

Taj Tandoori
This is no ordinary Indian restaurant; you’re taste buds are in for a treat at Taj Tandoori. A fusion of Indian street food meets Bangladesh.
I enjoyed a fish curry that was so light, full of fresh herbs and spices that exploded with aromatic flavours in my mouth. I couldn’t resist mopping up every last bit with a moreish, warm handmade naan too! Very friendly staff and many locals, so be sure to book!

The Oak Bistro
Traditional elegant British dining in the heart of Cambridge. Beautifully cooked dishes that won’t disappoint, in a very classic setting.
