Venue & Travel
📍 Todd’s Green, SG1 2JE. Perfectly placed between Stevenage and Hitchin.
Todd will be operating a shuttle services to and from Stevenage Train Station Leisure Park and Hitchin St Mary’s Square. Available for £1 per person, per journey. This is a first come, first served service.
Train: The closest train station to the festival site is Stevenage.

Singles Event FAQ
Q: Can I come on my own? Yes, and many people do. In fact, coming solo is often the best way to fully embrace the experience. You’ll instantly recognise other singles through their bands and identifiers, and our pop-up meet-ups make it easy to start conversations naturally.
Q: How do people actually meet? We keep it simple, visible and fun:
1) Between-Act Micro Meets: Throughout the day, I’ll host short, high-energy pop-ups between headline sets.
Whether your vibe is:
- Dance Tent Destroyers
- Sunset Meet-Up crew
- Woods Afterparty energy
We’ll gather for quick, informal drinks meet-ups near the action. No forced rotations. Just festival atmosphere.
2) Stage Meet-Ups: Look out for the BDB flag at stages.
Our singles group will gather together to party, sing and soak up the atmosphere. It’s the easiest way to meet others naturally and who knows, you may even find your duet partner.
Q: Is there a singles meeting point for those coming solo? Yes, there will be one main, visible anchor meet-up each day so everyone can gather over a drink and connect.
Q: What did we learn from last year? Last year, over 100 singles attended the experience. The biggest learning? Don’t take people away from the party…. take the party to them. This year, there’s no separate games zone. We’re integrating directly into the festival energy. Sunday proved to be a calmer, family-focused day, so this year the Singles Experience will run on the Friday and Saturday only.
I’ll still be around on Sunday if you want to say hello or have a boogie.
Q: What age is it suited to? All ages 21-60+ because Todd in the Hole Festival is built around tribute acts, it naturally attracts a wide age range. With over 10,000 people attending, sparks can fly at any age. This experience is less about age brackets and more about festival vibe, music & energy.
Q: What if I’ve never been to a singles event before? Perfect. This isn’t traditional speed dating. There are no formal tables. No timers. No awkward questioning. You’re meeting people while singing to Queen, dancing to Oasis or belting out Bon Jovi at the top of your lungs.
It feels like a festival, because it is one. LOL
Q: How is this different from speed dating? Speed dating is structured and time-limited. This is organic and high-energy. You’re connecting in real time, in real life, surrounded by music. It’s relaxed, natural and fun, with light-touch hosting to help break the ice. 😉
Q: Can I bring a friend? Of course. If your friend isn’t single, they simply need a standard festival ticket from Todd in the Hole Festival. They’re welcome to join you for the music and atmosphere, but only singles will receive the official Singles Experience identifiers.
Q: Does the ticket include the after-party? Yes, and this is big. Todd now includes the official after-party as part of your festival ticket. When the main stage closes, we will keep dancing until 1AM.
Q: What time is the festival open?
Friday: Main site opens – 14.00 / Main stage finishes – 23.00 / After party Finishes – 01.00
Saturday: Main site opens – 12.00 / Main stage finishes – 23.00 / After party finishes – 01.00

Q: How will I receive my Todd entrance ticket? After purchasing your Singles Festival Experience ticket, your name and email address will be securely shared with Todd in the Hole Festival for entry processing. Todd will email your official festival entrance ticket directly to you a few days before the event. Please ensure the email address you book with is correct and monitored.
Q: What do I need to do on arrival? Once you arrive at the festival, head straight to the BDB stand near the Vincent Stage.
There, you’ll:
